Doesn’t being at Bonneville technically mean those headlight covers are illegal? ;)

Fabulous picture - did they ever actually run the SM to top speed there? I also must say I like the wheels.

I imagine so, but they probably trailered it there, if I had to guess. I’ve no idea if a stock SM ever actually did a top speed run at Bonneville, but I do believe some crazy people got a heavily modified version up to 205-ish in the eighties.
